Liverpool forward Suso plans Merseyside stay

Liverpool attacker Suso has underlined his intention to stay with the Merseyside club this Summer, despite interest from other clubs.

Suso, 19, has made 14 Premier League appearances this season, in what was his first year in the Premier League.

The Spaniard, talking to Marca, revealed: “I’ve just had a fantastic season, and probably I will stay for next year. I have some offers, but at Liverpool I’m happy.”

With recent reports linking star striker Luis Suarez with a move to Real Madrid, the Reds completed a £7m deal with Celta Vigo attacker Iago Aspas on Tuesday.

Another Spaniard, Aspas has yet to be capped by the national team, but scored 12 goals in 35 La Liga matches last season.

Liverpool may be intending to bulk up their attack, after a season when only Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, of the strikers, scored more than one goal.
