After lighting up the Under 21 European Championships, in Israel, Thiago Alacantra now has his eyes on a move to the Premier League, with David Moyes’ Manchester United looking his likely destination.
It is believed that Thiago will pen a £5m-a-year contract after United stole a march on rivals Manchester City after agreeing personal terms with the player and his agent father Mazinho. Reports coming out of Barcelona though, are stating that the deal is not finalised yet and fans may have to wait until Monday before getting confirmation.
Attacking-midfielder Thiago, who can also play out wide, has been touted as one of the rising stars of Spanish football for a while, however he has now seen his stock rise further after his performances in Israel earlier in the month, which saw him bag a hat-trick against Italy in the tournament final.
