Sneijder reveals Mourinho contact and hints at Chelsea move

Wesley Sneijder has spoken warmly of his relationship with new Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, a legacy of their time together at Inter, and revealed he would consider a move to Stamford Bridge to again play under the Portuguese, Sky Sports has reported.

The Netherlands international added that he is happy at his current club, Galatasaray, but did concede that if Mourinho came calling he could not honestly say he would snub the approach. “I have a great relationship with Jose Mourinho,” Sneijder told SporX. “ We have kept in contact since our days at Inter.

Sky Sports add that it has been claimed Mourinho wants to be reunited with Sneijder in west London, having been confirmed as the new Chelsea manager on Monday. Sneijder left Inter for Istanbul in the January transfer window and helped his new employers to the latter stages of the Champions League.
