Arsenal outcast Bendtner offered Hull move

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is set for a third reunion with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner after offering the Denmark international the chance to move away from the Gunners, the Daily Mail has reported.

Bendtner previously played on loan for Bruce at Birmingham City and Sunderland and now the Tigers boss wants to sign the 25-year-old on a full-time basis – and is willing to pay £3m for the forward. Hull will also agree to pay Bendtner £30,000 per week but Arsenal will continue paying part of his contract as well.

It is more than two years since Bendtner played for Arsenal, having spent a season on loan at both Sunderland and Juventus – but he failed to score a goal in his time in Turin and Juve sent him back to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season. His Arsenal career has seen Bendtner make 157 appearances, scoring 43 goals.

Bendtner previously netted 13 times on loan with Bruce at Birmingham, and scored eight goals for Sunderland.
