Celtic striker Hooper nears QPR switch

The future of Celtic striker, Gary Hooper, looks set to be decided very soon as Sky Sports sources are reporting that the 25-year-old is close to agreeing a move to Queens Park Rangers.

Year-on-year, speculation as to where the former Scunthorpe United striker will be playing his football materialises but now Celtic are due to put an end to the constant speculation, as Hooper prepares for life in London.

He arrived at Celtic Park in 2010, on the back of a highly successful career at Glanford Park where he made his name for himself, scoring 82 goals in 138 appearances. He has continued his goal scoring success north of the border too, where he has been Celtic’s leading goalscorer in all three of his seasons in the green and white hoops.

But now, after continuously fighting off interest from the likes of Hull City, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City, the prolific striker looks set to begin a new chapter in his life, at Loftus Road and under the guidance of Harry Redknapp.
