Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Sky
The talented England midfielder has struggled with injuries over the last couple of seasons, but 21-year-old Chamberlain reckons Wilsher is back looking in good shape.
“Jack is back in training and looking really good. The fact that he is looking so strong is good for us and the national team,” said Olxlade-Chamberlain. The winger also believes that having Wilshere back is like having a new signing at the club and also feels that he can add a lot to the team in the build up to their new Premier League campaign.
Wilshere, 21, signed for the Gunners as a trainee from Luton Town in 2001 and since then has flourished at the north London outfit despite his recent injury setbacks. However, the Englishman has only managed to find the net once in his 51 league appearances for Arsenal but he did claim three assists from his 20 matches last term.
Oxlade-Chamberlain added finally that after those 20 games last season Wilshere will be keen to make more of an impression for the Gunners this campaign.
