Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon has expressed his interest in moving to another Premier League club on loan to gain more top-flight experience, with Crystal Palace and Liverpool looking to be his most likely suitors, the Daily
Piazon spent six months of last season on loan at Malaga, and has been advised by new manager Jose Mourinho to seek another temporary move, with regular football for Chelsea looking unlikely next season. Since joining the club in the summer of 2011, he has made just three appearances, only completing 90 minutes once.
Two other fairly recent signings at Chelsea, Kevin de Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, have already impressed during loan spells, with the latter scoring 17 Premier League goals for West Bromwich Albion last season.
And 19-year-old Piazon believes something similar will benefit him in the long-term. He said: ‘It’s important for me to stay in England and get used to the league where Chelsea play. English football is different to Spanish.
‘I have to work hard and believe and have confidence. There are many things together that can happen. I have to be prepared for any situation. It’s good for me to be going out on loan.
‘I’m 19, still young, I came from Brazil to play for Chelsea. Of course, I understand it is important to go on loan but I want to play here. It would be good for my future to play in England this year and it is important to find the right club before the start of the season.’
