Suarez named as part of Liverpool tour

The transfer talk surrounding Luis Suarez this summer claims that the striker wants out of Liverpool, but the Uruguay international has been included in boss Brendan Rodgers’ pre-season plans. The want-away front man has been added to the squad that will soon embark on the Reds tour to Indonesia, Australia and Thailand.

Liverpool have made it clear that they do not wish to sell the 26-year-old and have already turned down an offer from Arsenal. The Daily Mail

are reporting that Suarez will not be leaving Liverpool John Lennon Airport with the rest of the touring party on Tuesday. But the striker will be joining his current teammates later in the tour after he, countryman Sebastian Coates and Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina were granted extra time off due to their involvement in the recent Confederations Cup.

Speculation around Suarez this summer has been rife and has come of the back of his superb season in front of goal in the Premier League last term. The Uruguayan has attracted attention from all over Europe after bagging 30 goals for the Reds last season.
