Man City dealt Nastasic blow

Manchester City have been dealt an early blow ahead of the new Premier League season with the news that centre-back Matija Nastasic could miss the first month of the campaign with an ankle injury, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 20-year-old Serbian was stretchered off during July’s Barclays Asia Trophy final against Sunderland in Hong Kong after sustaining the injury. And it has been revealed on the club’s official website that the injury could see Nastasic sidelined for between four and six weeks, giving new manager Manuel Pellegrini some unwanted news as the club is about to embark upon its quest to regain the Premier League title from city rivals United.
