Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has been included in Chris Coleman’s Wales squad ahead of their two World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Serbia early next month, reports Sky
The 24-year-old has been the topic of on-going transfer speculation over a possible move to the Bernabeu to Real Madrid, although no deal with Tottenham has been agreed yet with the midfielder said to be “furious” over the delay. Bale, last season’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year, after scoring 21 Premier League goals during the season, has yet to feature at the start of this Premier League campaign due to injury. Spurs have recorded two 1-0 wins in that time over, Crystal Palace and Swansea, both through Roberto Soldado penalties.
However, Coleman has decided to include Bale in his squad for their upcoming Group A qualifiers. Wales, currently fourth in the group, travel to Skopje to face bottom-placed Macedonia on September 6 before they host third-placed Serbia in Cardiff four days later.
