Liverpool are planning a January transfer window move for Serie B star Abel Hernandez, reports the Express.
Hernandez,
The report suggests the player could be available for as little as £4m in January, after he revealed that his manager, former Milan star Gennaro Gattuso, would allow him to go if the right offer came in.
Hernandez revealed that the upcoming World Cup in Brazil is also a factor:
“The club and the coach told me that I could leave if the right offer was made and I think that has now arrived. They know what I want and they know what they promised me. I don’t want to lose the chance of playing at the World Cup next summer.”
Reds fans will be keeping an eye out to see if Hernandez continues to perform to his current standard- one of the players he will face competition from in the Palermo side is Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty, who scored his first Serie B goal for the club at home to Cesena last week.
