The Premier League champions, Manchester United, hope to return to winning ways on Saturday when they take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, with the Eagles having secured their first win last time out.
There were one or two questions asked of David Moyes following defeat to arch rivals Liverpool in their last match, after his side lacked creativity. The Scot responded by signing Marouane Fellaini from his old club Everton late on deadline day, and the versatile Belgian can add something extra to the midfield.
There will be much more pressure on Moyes should his team fail to earn maximum points here, while for his counterpart Ian Holloway, there is not much to lose for his side. A lot has changed since the convincing win over Sunderland at the end of August, with five players arriving on deadline day.
For United, Fellaini could be handed his debut, while Danny Welbeck is expected to continue in attack with Wayne Rooney still recovering from a head injury. Should Phil Jones be unable to play at right-back, Chris Smalling could deputise.
Jack Hunt, one of the deadline day signings, has been ruled out for four months, but Barry Bannan, Adlene Guedioura, Cameron Jerome and Adrian Mariappa, all of whom have Premier League experience, could all play a part. Holloway meanwhile begins a two-match touchline ban.
