Manchester United manager David Moyes will be reunited with left-back Leighton Baines in January, as the Everton left-back is set to move to Old Trafford for £15m in January, according to the Daily
Everton managed to hold on to Baines during the summer as Man Utd pursued the 28-year-old and instead signed teammate Marouane Fellaini on transfer deadline day, but are reportedly in advanced plans to find a replacement, with Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand and Swansea City youngster Ben Davies in their thoughts among others.
Unwilling to deny Baines the chance to play for the champions, a bid of £15m is the least that Everton will consider, and should an offer arrive that meets their demands, they will be happy to let him go after over six years with the club, during which he has scored 24 goals in 255 games.
No talks have begun between Baines and Everton over a new contract, with the England international’s current deal running until the end of next season, with the player thought to be keen on the move.
