Liverpool chief Henry praises Suarez, Sturridge and Rodgers after Fulham win

Liverpool supremo John W. Henry has lavished praise on dynamic strike duo Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, backing them to dominate the Premier League for years, writes The Mirror.

Henry believes Suarez and Sturridge play together like brothers, and called them “the most dangerous tandem in football”. Suarez’s brace in the 4-0 drubbing of struggling Fulham took the pair’s combined total to 18 goals so far this season, as Suarez continues to win back over the fans after agitating in vain for a move away from Anfield during the summer.

Henry was also keen to acknowledge manager Brendan Rodgers’ contribution as Liverpool have enjoyed their best start to a Premier League season for years, saying on his official Twitter account: “Huge difference with LFC playing offensively with a lead rather than defending. Brendan making great adjustments.”

The win over Fulham saw Liverpool climb to second in the table after Chelsea could only manage a draw at home to West Brom, with Arsenal in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to the home of champions Man United.
