Manchester United manager David Moyes is preparing to offload Shinji Kagawa as part of a deal to bring in Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundagon from Borussia Dortmund, writes Daily
Kagawa joined United from Dortmund 18 months ago, but has struggled to make an impact since arriving at Old Trafford. Moyes is hoping to land the deals of 24-year-old Reus and 23-year-old Gundogan, who have been influential players during Dortmund’s success in recent years.
Reus, who has a £29.4m release clause, scored 19 goals for the club last year and has seven goals in 12 league appearances this campaign. Gundogan has been slightly out of favour this season though, having only made one appearance in the Bundesliga as Dortmund currently sit four points off Bayern Munich in second.
Moyes is keen to bolster his midfield with summer signing Marouane Fellaini not producing the form he did for Everton last season under the Scot. The Red Devils are currently fifth in the Premier League and travel to Cadiff City following the international break.
