Newcastle boss Pardew eyes six-month loan for Man Utd’s Zaha

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is considering a move for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on a six-month loan deal in January, writes Daily Mail.

It is expected that David Moyes will be open to the talks with the opportunity for Zaha to gain first-team experience in the Premier League, having only played once in the Capital One Cup under the United manager.

The 21-year-old ruled out a return to his former club Crystal Palace, where he was expected to join on-loan in January, but the England winger is keen to play Premier League football elsewhere.

Zaha has been part of the England Under-21 squad during the last year, having failed to make a first-team appearance for United under Moyes. The winger made his full England debut against Sweden, but has seen himself return to the Under-21 squad.

Zaha, 21, made over 110 appearances for Crystal Palace last season as he helped them gain promotion to the Premier League.

The winger played during England Under-21s fixture against Finland on Thursday evening, and the 3-0 victory was highly convincing as they prepare to take on San Marino on Tuesday evening.
