After their embarrassing 7-0 defeat at Manchester City, Norwich City will be looking for three points against West Ham United, which could see them move out of the bottom three.
A combination of excellent football from the hosts and some poor Norwich defending saw the Canaries lose emphatically at the Etihad Stadium, a result which only served to intensify the pressure on manager Chris Hughton. Supporters are beginning to show their discontent after a considerable amount of money was spent during the summer, and the investment has not produced results, or indeed many goals.
To make matters worse, their opponents are one of the most difficult sides to score against in the Premier League. West Ham have kept six clean sheets in their opening 10 matches and have conceded just three from open play, although they too are finding goals hard to come by, and are becoming used to playing without a recognised striker as Andy Carroll continues to be sidelined by injury.
Hughton could make several changes from the team that lost at Man City, but Alexander Tettey and Elliott Bennett are both long-term absentees, while this game comes too soon for Ricky van Wolfwinkel.
West Ham also have injury problems, as they have doubts over Winston Reid, and they are still without James Collins, Alou Diarra, Mladen Petric, Ricardo Vaz Te and George McCartney.
