Sandro believes Tottenham Hotspur can go to Manchester City on Sunday and do what no team in the Premier League has done so far this season – beat Manuel Pellegrini’s side on their own patch, Sky
City have beaten Newcastle, Hull, Manchester United, Everton and Norwich City at the Etihad Stadium, scoring 20 goals in the process – seven of them coming against the Canaries – and while Sandro expects a tough encounter, he can see a way in which Andre Villas-Boas’ team can come out on top.
“I think it will be a difficult game, like every match,” the Brazil international told Spurs’ official website. “We have to go and play with confidence from the beginning. We will need everything on the pitch because it’s a hard game to win there, but we have to do it. From the start of the game we have to push on, to fight for every ball, to be on top of City
“A win would be great for us,” Sandro added. “Every match is important. Let’s go to try to win this match first. We can do it. We can win there.”
Tottenham are currently a place and a point better off than City, but were beaten at White Hart Lane by Newcastle in their last outing prior to the international fixtures. City were also beaten ahead of the international break and likewise, by North East opposition, going down to a single goal against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
