The striker currently plies his trade for the Pacesetter academy in Ohio and was noticed by Everton scout and former Wolves and Aston Villa assistant manager Jim Barron, at the Pacesetter English Premier League soccer camp earlier in the year.
The Under 17 striker spent time with the Everton youth teams during his trial stint at the Merseyside club. Despite suffering an ankle injury on only his second day with the Toffees, the young forward impressed those watching on.
Buescher was shown around the club during his stay and watched on as Everton Under 16’s took on Newcastle and the American also took in the first team’s fixture on Saturday as they beat Stoke 4-0 at Goodison Park.
The youngster is currently studying at St.John’s Jesuit High School and his trip to England was planned to tie in with the Thanksgiving school vacation period in the USA. He has since returned to his homeland but it is thought that Everton plan to make a move having been impressed with his short stint at the club.
Everton who have only lost one game all season will be hoping that current striker and top scorer Romelu Lukaku, who has eight goals already this term, can continue his good form as the side travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Wednesday evening.
