MUTV analyst Henning Berg believes young sensation Adnan Januzaj has the capability to become a world class player, according to Man United’s official
But Berg, who served Man United as a player between 1997-2000, was keen to emphasise that Red Devils fans should remain patient with the player given his tender age and relative lack of experience thus far.
“I have really enjoyed watching Adnan Januzaj play this season,” said Berg.
“You see young kids coming through and they do very well in parts of the game but Januzaj has the awareness and understanding, plus the touch and self-belief, that enables him to produce it when coming into the team for the first time. That is not easy. But we should not expect him to do it every game. Maybe the last one he played, at Cardiff, you could see that things won’t be 100 per cent every time but from what he has done so far, he has been fantastic.”
Januzaj has enjoyed a very impressive start to his Man United career, and Berg believes that with time and patience the Belgian striker can be a top striker on the world stage, comparing the 18-year-old to Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
“David Moyes said he lacks one or two world class players for the team to be top in Europe but I think he has one extra world class player coming through the ranks. He reminds me of Mesut
