Norwich City and Swansea City meet in the latest instalment of a fixture which always seems to produce plenty of goals.
Chris Hughton’s team responded superbly well to their annihilation at Liverpool with a fine win at West Bromwich Albion, which moved them four points clear of the relegation zone. That was their third win in five games, and with summer signings Leroy Fer and Gary Hooper begin to show find form, Norwich are looking as if they a beginning to turn a corner.
Swansea’s wholly inconsistent season continued on Thursday as they lost in the Europa League to St. Gallen, although they did manage to scrape through their group. That result came after a somewhat lacklustre display against Hull City on Monday, and the general consensus among supporters this season is that the team has struggled for creativity this season, with Miguel Michu, and record signing Wilfried Bony, both struggling for goals.
Norwich welcome back striker Ricky van Wolfwinkel from a toe injury, but wingers Elliott Bennett, Anthony Pilkington and Robert Snodgrass are still out.
The visitors are unable to call upon defender Chico Flores, who, while scoring the equaliser against Hull, also picked up his fifth yellow card of the season. Angel Rangel should be fit enough to return from a calf problem.
