Brazilian star Everton Ribeiro admitted he would love to play for Manchester United and believes he would fit into any part of the midfield, writes Daily
The 24-year-old has been tracked by David Moyes’ scouts and has attracted interest from Liverpool, with the price-tag set to around £10million by Cruzeiro.
The midfielder helped Brazilian side Cruzeiro win the league title and was named the league’s best player, and a move to the Premier League would be welcomed by the Brazil star.
‘I feel I am ready to play in any part of the world. If you play for Cruzeiro, you can play in any place. I would fit in any part of the midfield. I would do well as a playmaker to support the attack.’
Asked if he will be playing alongside Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, the midfielder said: ‘It would be great.
‘I let my agent and Cruzeiro talk about that. When they feel it’s good for both parties, they will let me know. I’ll see and we’ll analyse everything.’
The former Corinthians payer scored 20 goals in 82 appearances for Coritiba, before joining Cruzeiro this year, where he has scored 15 times in 53 outings.
The 24-year-old can also play as a wing-back or winger, and has represented the Brazil Under-20 squad, and a move to the Premier League could boost his chances of making the Brazil World Cup squad.
