Arsenal are set to turn their attentions to Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom, according to a report on the Daily
The 31-year-old central midfielder would help provide manager Arsene Wenger with cover in central positions, after injury ruled out Aaron Ramsey for six weeks, and Mathieu Flamini was red-carded at the weekend against Southampton.
Kallstrom, who has 108 caps for Sweden, spent much of his career in Ligue 1 with Lyon, but made the move to Russia two seasons ago for 3m Euros, and has netted three goals in 30 league appearances for Spartak.
The Moscow club have recently let another midfielder, Aiden McGeady, leave in this January transfer window, after he secured a cut-price £1.6m deal with Everton. The fee for Kallstrom is as yet unclear, but a discounted fee could be expected.
