“The two lads who have come in have been excellent for us,” said Lambert.
“Ryan came in and I thought he was excellent in the game.

Left-back Bertrand joined from Chelsea and Holt from Wigan with both players making their debuts in the Liverpool game.
The Scot also went on to say how Holt has made a real impression off the pitch as well as on it in the build up to the derby.
“Holty has been fantastic around the place with us. He is a good guy and a good character. He did well when he came on.
“There’s no doubt they have given us a lift,” added Lambert.
“People probably questioned why we brought in Holty, but I knew what I was getting – on and off the pitch. He’s been bubbly.”
