Man Utd winger Zaha set for Cardiff loan move

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has undergone a medical ahead of a proposed loan move to Cardiff City until the end of the season, ESPN has reported.

Zaha was signed by previous Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson back in January, but joined up with his new teammates in the summer after completing last season with previous club Crystal Palace. However, he has barely featured for the champions under new manager David Moyes.

The Scot has preferred youngster Adnan Januzaj as well as Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa and Nani to play in the wide positions this season, and rumours have been rife that Zaha had been looking for a move away from the club.

It now looks as if recently appointed Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has used his Man Utd connections to his advantage, and a move to South Wales is now looking likely for the England U-21 international. If all goes to plan for the Premier League’s bottom club, he could make his debut on February 1, against Norwich City.
