Swansea City are in negotiations with Blackpool winger Thomas Ince over a possible move to the Liberty Stadium during the January transfer window, BBC
Ince, who is currently managed by his father Paul at Blackpool, is one of the Championship’s most sought-after players, and turned down a move to Swansea’s arch rivals, Cardiff City, during the summer.
The 21-year-old has been at Bloomfield Road since 2011, when he joined from Liverpool. He has since gone on to score 33 goals in 111 appearances for the Seasiders, who are currently on an eight match winless streak which has seen them slip to 12th in the second tier.
Swansea are chasing the England U-21 international as they wait to find out the full extent of the injury to winger Pablo Hernandez, who was forced off in the early stages of the New Year’s Day defeat to Manchester City. Nathan Dyer is already sidelined, which leaves Wayne Routledge and Roland Lamah as their only fit wide players.
Aside from Swansea, Ince has also been linked with French high-flyers Monaco since being offered a new contract by Blackpool in December.
