Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has stated that he and his team are determined to challenge Manchester City when they face each other in the Premier League on Wednesday, according to TottenhamHotspur.com.
“I didn’t play in the game at City but I watched it on the TV and I felt for the guys,” said the 21-year-old, who was recovering from an ankle injury at the time.
“Hopefully we can put it right now. You can feel that now the game is getting closer. Everyone wants to be 110 per cent for this game.
“Everyone knows you have to be on your toes when you play City. You don’t even have to say it. We have to be at our top level and that’s what we want to achieve in this game.”
City are the form side in the Premier league having won 13 of their last 14 in all competitions, including their last seven in the top flight and have broken the record for the fastest team to reach 100 Premier League goals this season.
Spurs currently sit fifth in the table and come into the game having won seven, drawn two and lost just one game of their last ten in the Premier League and will hope their good run continues.
