Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli could be seeking a move from the club in a bid to save his World Cup chances, according to Sky
Chadli’s agent, Daniel Evrard has claimed that his client has not received sufficient game time and is often being played out of his preferred position ahead of the World Cup.
“His situation is not easy at Tottenham at the moment. The World Cup is arriving so it’s a problem,” said Evrard.
“For him to play at the World Cup it’s important so why not a loan? We haven’t spoken to Tottenham yet but I know there are clubs interested in him.”
The 24-year-old joined the London club from FC Twente last summer in a £7 million deal but has made just seven Premier League starts for the side and only one since Tim Sherwood took the managerial reigns.
Despite grabbing two goals and three assists so far this season he has struggled to break into a regular place at White Hart Line even though he has become a key player in the Belgium international midfield.
The young Belgian has 18 caps for his international side but manager Marc Wilmots will still be concerned about his lack of playing time.
“It’s very difficult for him because we’ve not seen the best of him at Tottenham. He has big potential so he is a little bit frustrated,” added Evrard.
