Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that his side may make a move for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, according to the
The London club have been linked with the Columbian forward several times in the past and are now on alert as Falcao could be seeking a move away from Monaco.
Falcao is reportedly frustrated with the lack of competition at the Ligue 1 side, despite only making the switch from Atletico Madrid last summer.
“I have a team, but no striker. Falcao does not have a team. A player like him can’t play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end [your career with],” said Mourinho.
The forward is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury and is thought to miss out on the World Cup this summer, however his manager Claudio Ranieri believes he may yet be fit in time.
Falcao scored nine goals in 17 games for Monaco prior to his injury, suffered against Toulouse in mid-January.
