Crystal Palace’s deadline day loan signing Tom Ince has expressed his delight at completing his move to Selhurst Park, reports Sky
The 22-year-old has been regularly linked with a move away from Blackpool in recent transfer windows, and the Eagles proved to be the side to tempt him to switch by bringing him to the club until the end of the season, and Ince is convinced he made the right move after revealing he spoke to three different clubs on the last day of the transfer window.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “Crystal Palace is a great club and has a great fanbase. The way they play and the players they brought in suits me.
“Tony [Pulis] has come in and done a fantastic job and I’m just over the moon to be part of a team that is on the up at the moment.
“I went to Swansea and spoke to them, then I spoke to Steve Parish and then on the way back up north I spoke to Mark Hughes and Stoke.
“The whole saga wasn’t entirely true, I spoke to three clubs who I felt I would fit in well at and Crystal Palace were the one for me.”
With Ince’s father Paul having been dismissed as Blackpool boss earlier in January, his own long-term future at Bloomfield Road remains unresolved, but Ince is determined to just prove himself at whatever level his club at the time is at.
He continued: “I’m just going to work hard in training, fight for my place.
“When the summer comes I’ll sit down with my Dad and the people involved and see when we go from there.”
