Tony Pulis insists he isn’t concerned with the form of any team other than Crystal Palace as he attempts to keep the Eagles in the Premier League, Sky
Pulis replaced Ian Holloway in November and a run of four wins and a draw in their last 10 league games has seen Palace climb to 14th. The London club go to Everton’s Goodison Park on Wednesday and Pulis dismissed the suggestion he will have on eye on the results of the other teams striving to beat the drop.
“We took over in a very difficult situation and the run that we’ve been on has been absolutely fantastic,” Pulis said.
“But it’s only taken us three points above the relegation zone. We have to maintain that. It’s probably going to go right to the wire. If you get 40 points you’ve got a massive chance of staying up.
“I’m not concerned about what other people are doing. I’m just concentrating on what I can affect – and that’s the players I’ve got and the team I manage.”
Palace currently have 26 points from their 25 games with West Bromwich Albion in the final relegation spot.
