The weekend of April 11-14 will see fixtures in the Premier League, FA Cup, Football League and Conference also hold a minute’s silence to mark the tragedy, which occurred at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough ground on April 15, 1989, during an FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
Games scheduled to kick-off at 3pm will begin at 3.06pm while the FA Cup ties, which see Arsenal play Wigan on April 12 and Hull play Sheffield United on April 13, will begin at 5.07pm and 4.07pm respectively.
The Premier League fixtures on Sunday will follow suit. Liverpool host Manchester City and play will begin at 1.37pm and Swansea City’s match against Chelsea will start at 4.07pm.
Liverpool’s game against Forest in 1989 was abandoned at 3.06pm as the tragedy unfolded. 96 people died and new inquests into the tragedy were ordered last year. They are due to start on March 31.
