Manchester United will be prepared to offer midfield target Toni Kroos a weekly wage of £250,000 to tempt him to leave European champions Bayern Munich for Old Trafford in the summer, according to the Metro.
Bayern would reportedly be willing to allow Kroos to leave at the end of the season if a contract extension is not agreed, although they would be looking for a transfer fee of over £20m from any potential suitors to force them into a sale.
Kroos’ contract dispute has convinced Moyes to set his sights on a player who is likely to play a major role for Germany at this summer’s World Cup, and Man Utd will try to persuade him to move by offering £150,000 more per week than what he currently earns.
For Bayern, he has made 36 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals; one of them coming in the recent Champions League victory over Arsenal.
