Ivica Olic has confirmed he wants to move to Stoke City when his Wolfsburg contract ends at the end of the season, Sky
Olic said last month that he had an offer from the Potters and said that while he has been approached by teams in a number of countries, playing in the Premier League remains his first choice.
“There are many rumours about my future,” the Croatia striker said. “The press are talking about me moving to United States, to Qatar, but Stoke City remains my first choice.
“They are very serious and it would be really nice to play against Manchester United, Liverpool and other great English clubs. But nothing is signed yet so anything can happen.
“I also have some offers from Germany, even my former club Hamburg wants me. Never say never, right now the only thing I can say is that I will make my decision this month.”
Olic, 34, has been at Wolfsburg since the summer of 2012, moving from Bayern Munich after three years with the Bavarians. He has scored 17 goals in 54 games for Wolfsburg after netting 15 times in 53 appearances for Bayern, mostly playing as a substitute.
Previously of Hamburg, CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Zagreb, Olic has 89 caps and 16 goals for Croatia.
