Charlton duo Morgan Fox and Dillon Phillips have both signed new contracts with the Championship club, according to Sky
Both players are graduates of the club’s academy and Fox has even managed to break into the first-team this season, featuring in the 3-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.
The 21-year-old has penned a new deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2017, whilst goalkeeper Phillips has extended his current deal until 2016.
“The season has got better and better for me. It was a little bit of a slow start because I was hoping to be pushing for the first team but going on loan did me the world of good,” said Fox to the club’s official website.
“Now I have progressed into the first team and I am very happy with that and to get a new deal.”
18-year-old goalkeeper Phillips is still waiting for his first senior appearance but has regularly featured for the club’s Under-21 side this season.
With the new deals for the academy youngsters, it will give fans hope of bright youth products progressing through the system just like Fox and Phillips.
