West Ham midfielder Antonio Nocerino has said that he wishes to stay at Upton Park after the season is finished, according to Sky
The Italian joined West Ham in January on loan from AC Milan after falling out of favour with the Rossoneri.
The 29-year-old started just his second game for the Hammers in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday and has made very few substitute appearances for the club but is happy with the side.
“I’m at West Ham on loan but I hope to stay in the Premier League even in the next season,” said Nocerino.
“West Ham take my precedence over all other clubs, because they gave me confidence when AC Milan no longer believed in me.”
Despite his small role to play at West Ham, the 29-year-old believes that he has seen enough to know that he wants to stay a part of the team or at the very least remain playing in the Premier League.
The midfield man also claimed that found it easy to adapt to English football after he found there to be less pressure than in the Italian leagues.
“I’m fine in England, here there’s a different mindset and a lot less pressure than in Italy,” added Nocerino.
