Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom is keen to return to Arsenal despite an injury hit loan spell with the Gunners, the Daily
Kallstrom was a January deadline day singing, joining on loan for the rest of the season from Spartak Moscow, but arrived with a back injury that severely restricted playing time in an Arsenal shirt – he made just one start and three other appearances.
During his medical back in January it was discovered that he had the back injury, but Arsene Wenger decided to still go ahead with the deal with the Swede continuing his rehabilitation at the Emirates.
Despite his limited spell in the Arsenal side Kallstrom has said he would like to return to the emirates Stadium after enjoying his time in North London.
The 31-year-old said: “I can see myself returning to Arsenal, we will see what happens. I had a long talk with the manager, about everything. I had a fantastic time at Arsenal and I like their style of play because you get a lot of possession and can develop as a player.”
The Swede has made a total of 39 appearances for current club Spartak Moscow since joining them back in 2012.
Before joining Spartak Kallstrom played a key part in winning six pieces of silverware for French club Lyon, including two Ligue 1 titles.
