It’s claimed that Ancelotti has identified Ramires as the player he wants to bring to Santiago Bernabeu and Perez, feeling grateful to Ancelotti for delivering the Champions League, will do his best to deliver the Brazil international.
But Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reluctant to sell, despite Ramires being open to the offer of a move to La Liga. It would be a reunification with Ancelotti, who was the Chelsea manager when Ramires left Benfica for Stamford Bridge in 2011.
Ramires has made almost 200 appearances for the Blues in the four seasons he has spent at the club, scoring 26 goals. The 27-year-old was part of the teams that claimed the FA Cup and Champions League double in 2011-12 and the Europa League in 2012-13, beating his former side in the final.
He is also part of the Brazil squad for the World Cup, having also played at the tournament four years ago and claimed an Olympic Bronze medal in 2008 in Beijing.
