Winger Thomas Ince has reportedly stalled on signing a contract with Hull City in the hope that the likes of Stoke City could come in with an offer, according to the Stoke
Ince is currently a free agent after leaving Championship side Blackpool at the end of last season, the last few months of which he spent on loan in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. Since then he has attracted interest from a number of clubs, and has held talks with Inter over a possible move to the San Siro.
Despite interest in a permanent deal from Crystal Palace, Hull currently appear to be in pole position to bring in the 22-year-old, who has agreed personal terms, but has not penned a contract in order to complete a move to the KC Stadium.
Stoke had interest in Ince during the January transfer window, and after their strong finish to last season, the player would be open to joining the Potters, particularly with manager Mark Hughes openly keen on signing a winger this summer. Any deal, however, would require a fee of up to £8m, due to Ince being under the age of 23.
