Inter have told Tottenham that they would like £10m plus striker Roberto Soldado for them to allow midfielder Fredy Guarin move to White Hart Lane, according to Talksport.
The Italian club initially wanted a straight cash offer of £14m to convince to part with Guarin, who has also attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United. However, they have now decided that they want Soldado as part of the deal, and have lowered the asking price.
Due to their lack of striking options, Spurs are unlikely to be keen on the proposal, with Pochettino reportedly intent on getting the best of the Spaniard after he struggled in his first season in England.
Signed for £26m last summer, Soldado managed to score just six Premier League goals, a number of which came from the penalty spot. As a result, he has been linked with a return to La Liga, with champions Atletico Madrid holding an interest.
