QPR striker Loic Remy has been given permission by his club to hold talks with London rivals Chelsea, according to Sky
Remy has wanted a move away from Loftus Road all summer and was close to joining Liverpool back in July, only to see the deal collapse after the player allegedly failed his medical.
It is also thought that the Frenchman has turned down the chance to join Newcastle, where he spent last season on loan, on a permanent basis – and is now set to get the move to a club with Champions League football as he wanted.
He has played both of Rangers games this season but is yet to score for the club in the Premier League since May 2013.
While manager Harry Redknapp remains keen on keeping the France international at the club it appears he will leave for their West London rivals to compete for a place against Diego Costa and Didier Drogba, with Fernando Torres seemingly on his way to Italy and AC Milan.
Remy has only made 14 appearances for QPR since his £8m arrival back in January 2013 and has scored six goals – last season he bagged 14 goals in 26 games for Newcastle.
