Chelsea take on Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in a meeting of the only two sides in the Premier League with unblemished records after three games.
Jose Mourinho has acknowledged that his team are title contenders this season, and they have looked like the favourites with some superb attacking play, as well as the creativity that was lacking last term.
The Chelsea boss will have been concerned by some of the defending at Everton before the international break, but scoring six goals at the home of the Toffees is no mean feat, while he will be thrilled with Diego Costa’s return of four goals from his opening three Premier League outings.
After the struggles they experienced on occasions last season, few expected Swansea to make such a blistering start. Wilfried Bony and Bafetimbi Gomis are both yet to score in the league this season, suggesting that there is still plenty more to come from them.
They dispatched West Bromwich Albion last time out with ruthless efficiency, with two more goals from the in-form Nathan Dyer and a superb strike from Wayne Routledge. Off the back of that performance, they will enter this match with great confidence and belief.
The hosts do have a slight doubt over Costa after he picked up a hamstring injury on international duty, and they have similar concerns over Eden Hazard.
Swansea are without Leon Britton, Marvin Emnes and Alan Tate, but Garry Monk is likely to go with an unchanged line-up.
