Italian duo interested in Januzaj loan

Juventus and Fiorentina have both expressed an interest in bringing Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj on loan to Italy in the January transfer window, according to the Metro.

The young Belgian is reportedly keen to gain a loan move away from Old Trafford in order to gain first-team football, after finding regular action hard to come by in the early weeks of the season.

Indeed, he has not yet started a game under Louis van Gaal, and with players such as Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao having arrived in recent weeks, his prospects look even slimmer both on the wing and in attack, with van Gaal believing him capable of playing in both positions.

A move to Juventus will see him reunite with Patrice Evra, who left Man Utd for the Italian champions in the summer, but joining Fiorentina is likely to give Januzaj a better chance of nailing down a regular place in the team due to them having less wide options. The Red Devils also loaned midfielder Anderson to Florence last season.
