New Manchester United signing Marcos Rojo has admitted that he cannot wait to make his debut for the club after he was finally allowed to join on Thursday, reports the club’s official
The signing of Rojo was completed on August 22, but due to ongoing visa problems relating to an allegation against him from his native Argentina, he has been unable to make his debut, and has therefore missed Premier League games against Sunderland and Burnley, as well as the Capital One Cup defeat at Milton Keynes Dons.
He is now likely to make his debut against Queens Park Rangers on September 14 after his visa issues were sorted on Thursday, and he will now be joined by Angel Di Maria, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao, who have all moved to Old Trafford in recent days.
And the 24-year-old has confirmed that he is desperate to make his United debut. He said: “I am desperate to get onto the field and play because I have not been able to step onto Old Trafford [yet].
“My life has changed a lot. I am very happy to be at Manchester United, a top team in the world, sharing a dressing room with players like Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Angel Di Maria and now Radamel Falcao. This is a very important step in my career as a player and as a person. Everything that has happened to me since the World Cup has been a dream.”
