Barcelona’s Alex Song hoping to remain in England following loan spell with West Ham

West Ham’s on-loan midfielder Alex Song wants to stay in the Premier League when at the end of his temporary stay with the Hammers, reports Sky Sports.

“I think my future will be here. My family, everyone is happy here. I’m very happy to come back to England. I’ve always said if I move from Barcelona, I’ll come to England and my future is here anyway. I just want to enjoy playing at the moment and we’ll see what is happening at the end of the season.”

Song, 27, has impressed following his loan move from Barcelona, and his manager has been full of praise for him. Many were surprised he joined the Londoners over a host of other clubs, and his performances for West Ham have attracted attention from potential suitors.

The Hammers will certainly be on alert for his transfer availability at the end of his loan move.
