Hull City’s Alex Bruce wants revenge on Southampton ahead of weekend meeting

After Southampton did the league double against Hull City last season, Alex Bruce wants revenge against the Saints when the two sides meet this weekend, reports ITV Football.

“They were a bit of a bogey team for us last year. They played very well here (KC Stadium) and at St Mary’s. Hopefully we can put that right with a win. We have to approach it in the right way because we owe them one as it stands. They’ve hit the ground running this season but hopefully we can stop them in their tracks,” he said.

Southampton are in fine form this season, winning six of their last seven games in the league. Ronald Koeman’s side are second in the table, and beat Hull City when the two sides met at the KC Stadium. Hull have a difficult task to get a result, but they do have home advantage, and the Tigers have only lost to Man City at home so far.
