Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has revealed that the Italian side will explore the possibility of taking Liverpool midfielder Suso on loan in January, Sky
The Spaniard is into the final year of his contract with the Reds, and until now there has been no indication that fresh terms are set to be agreed. With his current deal due to expire in June, Suso will be able to negotiate a deal with another club in January.
And Galliani believes that an agreement with the player is worth pursuing, while he also admits interest in Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. He said: “Suso to AC Milan in January? He is a player with a contract expiring in June who must decide whether to stay at Liverpool or go elsewhere. We’ll see in January.
“Khedira? He would be good for AC Milan but earns a lot of money. If he doesn’t extend his contract with Real Madrid, he will ask for a very high salary.”
Formerly of Cadiz, the 20-year-old broke into the Liverpool first-team setup in the early part of Brendan Rodgers’ reign, but spent the whole of last season out on loan with Almeria, where he made 35 appearances and scored three goals, as well as contributing nine assists.
