Paris St. Germain are weighing up a big-money move for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, who is yet to sign a new contract at the Merseyside club, reports the Independent.
However, no new deal has been signed and PSG have been monitoring the situation, and would be willing to significantly increase Sterling’s weekly pay by offering him a six-figure sum. The French champions are backed by the Qatar Investment Authority, who will not hold back from making a lucrative bid to both Sterling and Liverpool.
Having broken into the first team in the early part of Brendan Rodgers’ reign in 2012 at the age of 17, Sterling has now established himself as one of Liverpool’s most important players, as well as a key member of the England team. This rise has attracted attention from some of Europe’s other elite clubs.
