Swansea City in talks with potential investors

Amid rumours of a potential investment, Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has admitted the club are in talks with American millionaire John Moores, reports BBC Sport.

“Until there is actually a bit more detail and more definite information to give, this is pure speculation. There is a level of confidentiality that has to remain until there is a bit more to give,” chairman Huw Jenkins.

The Premier League side are considerably behind in terms of commercial income, and are being kept in good financial condition through shrewd spending in the transfer market, and TV revenue.

Swansea are enjoying a good campaign so far too, with Garry Monk’s men sitting in 6th place in the Premier League table. American millionaire John Moores, an entrepreneur, is reportedly speaking with the Swans with a view to invest in the future.
