Arsenal on red alert as Christoph Kramer hints at Bundesliga exit in the summer

Arsenal received some positive news on their transfer target Christoph Kramer, with the Bayern Munich midfielder hinting at a move abroad following the end of his loan spell with Borussia Monchengladbach, reports the Standard.

When asked about the prospect of moving to another country, the Germany international said: “(Moving abroad) has always interested me. I would not be afraid. I want to find out what my limit is and I always strive for the very best.”

Kramer, 23, is on the Arsenal shortlist, as manager Arsene Wenger eyes up a host of talented defensive midfielders to help protect his backline. He will return from his loan spell from Monchengladbach this summer, and is unlikely to force his way into the Bayern midfield, with Bastian Schweinsteiger, Xabi Alonso, Javi Martinez, Sebastien Rode, Thiago Alcantara (when fit) and Mario Gotze for competition. As a result, the young midfielder could well consider a move away in the summer.
